I should have cover the women's Euros with a daily drawing project. I regret that I didn't. Life got in the way as it does and then the moment passed! whooshed by!

I was so inspired by the success of the Women's Cymru team making qualifying history and the Lionesses win in Europe. Other teams like Spain were fabulous and it was a joy to watch the fans having fun.

So I've gone into my archives to share some of the Cymru daily digital cartoons I created back in 2022. Although the daily cartoon challenge was running alongside the Men's World Cup at the time - I brought in the women's team and their fans, as part of the project. Whatever was happening that was of interest under the Cymru banner went in to the project. I need to make time to do these small projects that accumulate to give an overview of the feelings, aspirations and happenings of the time. They are a small record of those special moments and remind me of some great memories. I think I should bring them all together and create a mini zine ( although there are about 80 drawings).

Perhaps over time some of the drawings will have greater or different meanings and that will help me to select the important ones in a mini collection.
