Gayle Rogers

I draw illustrations to commission and political cartoons for myself.
My commissions have included illustrations for children's books, a number of product ranges and drawings for private and public clients.  
I am currently concentrating on my football-related commemoration work, developing a series of zines or graphic novel.
In November 2021 I was awarded an Early Career Researcher Grant from the British Society of Sporting History to develop my graphic novel. I have been able to visit Dudley, Manchester & Preston to undertake further research & interviews. In 2023 this project was supported by an artist bursary from the Artist Information Company. This support has enabled me to undertake advanced training, receive mentoring support and to attend the Lakes Comics Festival. 
I continue to collect the memories of those affected by the Munich Air Disaster and translate those stories through drawing.
