I am passionate about drawing, providing access to art in the community and promoting being an artist as a fulfilling potential job to young people. As an experienced art workshop leader I specialise in accessible drawing and plein air art workshops - with the added bonus that I can offer participants an opportunity to put on exhibitions of their work in my gallery - the Workers Gallery . I have led creative activities for plein air drawing, charcoal making, festivals, fashion shows, introducing & exploring new art materials, furniture making and upholstery. My plein air workshop with the local Ynyshir Primary School ( in conjunction with RCT Arts Service) won the 'Community, Participatory & Libraries Award 2018' as part of the International Big Draw Festival.

I lead drawing workshops in the local landscape, but if you are looking for something a little less cold and windy (but no less adventurous), I also lead a regular studio-based workshop called Delight in the Doodle from the Workers Gallery starting again in late February 2020.
